Dionne’s Story Reading

A public reading for the Dionne’s Story Project. Dionne White was an undergraduate student who was a victim of domestic violence that ultimately took her life. Because Dionne suffered in silence, her classmates and professors never knew that she needed help. Dionne’s Project was started to raise awareness about domestic violence.

Negro Leagues Event

As part of Carlow University’s Black History Month
celebration, all are invited to hear about the Negro
League players and teams from Sean L. Gibson, the
executive director of the Josh Gibson Foundation and
the great grandson of Josh Gibson, the legendary
Negro Leagues player who died in January 1947 and
was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
