Psychiatric Emergencies
Rapid mood swings, increased agitation, abusive behavior, suicidal thoughts, and alcohol or chemical intoxication/dependence are just a few of the signs that call for immediate medical intervention. At Carlow University, mental health assistance is available 24/7 for psychiatric emergencies both on and off campus. Carlow University Campus Police and Allegheny County 911 answer emergency calls.
