As you may have already heard, the Cabinet has approved Service Days for Faculty and Staff, which will be coordinated by the Office of Mercy Service. We will be offering 4 days of service to you throughout the 2016-2017 fiscal year. I hope that each and every one of you will plan to participate in one of these opportunities. We are fortunate to work at a mercy school where service is a pivotal part of everything that we do. We are able to serve alongside the Sisters of Mercy who take a vow of service in addition to their vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Please take a few moments to look at the upcoming service opportunities and to sign up for one that works for your schedule.
Spots are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first serve basis. The dates for the service days this semester are as follows:
October 18
Option 1: Jubilee Soup Kitchen (morning)
Option 2: Global Links (afternoon)
December 6
Option 1: Treasures at Salvation Army (all day)
