Impact Grant: Transforming Healthcare Through Mentorship
Devoted to Healing. Driven by Service.
At Carlow University, we believe healthcare is more than a profession—it’s a calling to serve, heal, and create lasting change. Through a $2.6 million HRSA-funded initiative, we are training Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in medically underserved communities. Rooted in Carlow’s longstanding values of Mercy Service, this program strengthens the local healthcare workforce while advancing equity in care access.
Hear More About Our Impact Grant:
Mentor the Next Generation
Carlow’s preceptor program offers experienced healthcare professionals a unique opportunity to guide and inspire future nurse practitioners. Preceptors play a vital role in preparing students to lead with empathy, navigate healthcare challenges, and address social determinants of health. With hands-on training in primary care, substance use disorders, women’s health, and telehealth, students graduate ready to make an immediate impact.
This is more than mentorship—it’s a partnership in building a stronger, more compassionate healthcare system. Join us in shaping the future of nursing and improving the well-being of our communities.
