3rd Annual President’s Lecture Series
The Need for Diversified Educator Workforce
The demographic make-up of our Pre-K-12 student population is not reflected in the educator workforce. This lecture/workshop will examine why representation in Education is critically important, consider historical constructs that prevented School access for Black and Indigenous educators, analyze the current “leaking” teacher pipeline and describe current programs designed to successfully address this multifaceted issue.
Speaker: Keely Baronak, EdD
