One of the results of trauma is changes in the brain. Minds and brains seem to change in their capacity to think and in how the world is perceived due to trauma. For many students COVID-19 has been traumatizing, and it does impact the ability to learn. This presentation is about what happens with trauma and learning and how to overcome these changes.
Presented by Marsha Frank, PhD, LCSW, Associate Professor of Social Work. Frank is the program director of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Carlow University. She also maintains a clinical practice focusing on eating disorders and trauma.
