A workshop consisting of community organizations in the Pittsburgh area sharing their best practices in gender-based violence prevention education and a discussion of strategies for overcoming obstacles, including best practices for handling disclosures of gender-based and sexual violence. This panel is oriented towards education students, faculty, and currently practicing educators. Act 48 continuing education credits will apply. This event will be fully virtual and will include a short panel followed by collaborative learning through case-studies. Case-studies will be specifically designed to engage with the unique challenges of prevention education at different developmental levels.
