Join us for this interactive workshop presented by a specialist from Carnegie Mellon’s CREATE Lab in support of our Noyce Scholars Program.
EarthTime, an open sourced tool
“EarthTime enables users to interact with visualizations of the Earth’s transformation over time. Combining huge data sets with decades of images captured by NASA and European Space Agency satellites, EarthTime brings to life patterns of natural change and human impact.”
How do we make sense of big data? How can we use it in support of student learning, empowerment, and advocacy? What stories can be told and considered?
Presented by: Mr. Ryan Hoffman, CREATE Lab at Carnegie Mellon University
Limited enrollment. Preference given to Carlow University students.
