Dr. Humphrey Will Be a Panelist at 12th Annual CEIR Conference on June 10

Carlow University President Kathy W. Humphrey, PhD, will join more than a dozen other leaders from southwestern, Pa., as a panelist in the 12th Annual Corporate Equity and Inclusion Roundtable (CEIR) Conference on Monday, June 10th, at the Power Center Ballroom at Duquesne University.

In addition to Dr. Humphrey, Carlow alumnae, Sara Oliver-Carter, Carlow’s Chief Diversity, Ethics and Inclusion Officer, and Sabrina Saunders Mosby, President, and CEO of Vibrant Pittsburgh, will also be panelists at the conference.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now,” an appropriate slogan for the advances that have been made in diversity, equity, and inclusion, even though more work is needed.

For the past 12 years, CEIR, an initiative of the Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP), has brought together influential leaders from business, government, academia, and non-profits throughout the region to engage in discussion and create strategies that can foster inclusivity and diversity in employment and the supply chains that serve the local business community.

The keynote speaker for this conference is Audra Bohannon, the founder of Bohannon Advisory and a former senior client partner at Korn Ferry, who has been a thought leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion for more than 35 years, and has helped corporations and individuals see the many ways that diversifying the workforce and supply chain can benefit all.

Thanks to generous sponsors, the 12th Annual CEIR Conference is free for all attendees. To register, please visit www.ceirpittsburgh.org, email ceiroundtable@gmail.com, or call (412) 212-8775.
