Carlow University wants to Pink the Pavilion on Saturday, February 3, as the women’s and men’s teams join the fight against cancer during their games with Indiana University East.

Carlow’s Men’s and Women’s Teams Face Highly Ranked Opponent on the Court
Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Carlow University Celtics men’s and women’s basketball teams will take on a tough foe on and off the court on Saturday, February 3, during the annual “Pink the Pavilion” game.
On the court, the Celtics will face River States Conference foe Indiana University East (IUE) on Saturday at Oakland Catholic’s Donahue Pavilion. Both IUE squads are nationally ranked in the NAIA. The Celtics women tip off at 1 p.m. against IUE’s 13th ranked team, and the men tip off at 3 p.m. against their counterparts, who are ranked 3rd in the NAIA.
Off the court, the opponent is cancer. Carlow’s “Pink the Pavilion” basketball games have become an annual event, where money raised by T-shirt and ticket sales goes to a local non-profit that helps in the fight against breast cancer.
This year’s beneficiary of the money raised by “Pink the Pavilion” will be the Glock Foundation, a local foundation that targets breast cancer through clinical trials, that was founded by Carlow alumna and breast cancer survivor, Carol Glock.
