Carlow Homecoming 2024 is Coming Soon!

Each year, alumni and friends are invited back to campus for a weekend celebrating the legacy and devotion of our community. For 2024, Homecoming at Carlow University is bigger and better than ever. Join us for a weekend dedicated to discovery, including athletic events, mixers, festivals, and more. Connect, reminisce with classmates, and remember what it means to be Carlow, through and through.

Kicking off the weekend, on Thursday September 26, we are proud to launch the Black Alumni Connection (BLAC), our inaugural black alumni affinity group. BLAC aims to be a catalyst for positive change, offering a platform for professional development, mentorship, and social engagement while strengthening ties to Carlow and creating new opportunities for participants.

Friday morning, September 27, is Mercy service day, where all those who sign up are paired with a first-year student to serve the local community. Locations include American Heart Association, Bethlehem Haven, Garden of Millvale, Gwen’s Girls, and more. Later in the day, attend the Carlow Athletics Walk of Fame at the Rosemary Heyl Theatre, and the women’s volleyball game at St. Joe’s Gymnasium.

On Friday night, join the entire Carlow community for the CU On the Green Community Festival, a celebration including a stage with live DJ, food tents, and so much more.

On Saturday morning, September 28, join us for a unique 50th and 60th anniversary brunch at the Duquesne Club, open to all class years ending in five. Reminisce with old and new friends and learn how the Carlow mission continues to thrive throughout the Pittsburgh region. For alumni whose classes don’t end in five, join us at Gaynor’s school of cooking for a private appetizer class.

Later that evening, as part of our new Carlow Impact Series, we’ll be screening the world premiere of an incredible new documentary that retraces the roots of the Sisters of Mercy, their groundbreaking work in Ireland, and the mission that led them to Pittsburgh and the founding of Carlow University.
