If you’re planning to transfer to Carlow University and have graduated from high school within the last four years, you’re eligible for scholarships and awards.

Scholarships and awards are renewable for a maximum of eight semesters (fall and spring) of undergraduate education, pending Satisfactory Academic Progress. Scholarships and awards cannot be applied toward summer coursework, nor can they be prorated to accommodate any of Carlow’s accelerated degree programs. They are only available to those enrolled full time. 

Merit Scholarship amounts are based on your cumulative college GPA and range from $10,000 to $18,000 per year for transfer students entering Carlow in the 2025-2026 academic year. They are presented at the time of admission. 

  • GPA 3.700 and above: $18,000 
  • GPA 3.300-3.699: $16,000 
  • GPA 3.000-3.299: $14,000 
  • GPA 2.500-2.999: $12,000 
  • GPA below 2.500: $10,000 

Carlow awards, available to full-time, traditional undergraduate transfer students, may be combined with merit scholarships and institutional grants as long as they do not exceed the cost of tuition. 

  • College in High School Award: Students who successfully complete a transcripted Carlow University College in High School course (with a grade of C or better) will qualify for a $1,000 per year award 
  • Phi Theta Kappa Award: Full-time traditional transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.500, qualify for a $2,000 per year award
