Carlow University’s Professional Counseling graduates have the educational requirements to be eligible for licensure in Professional Counseling (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. View our full professional licensure disclosure.

In addition to the educational requirements, graduates must complete the following to obtain the LPC:

  • Receive a passing score on the National Counselors Exam (NCE) or The Advanced Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse Counselor Examination (AAODA)
  • Complete 3,000 supervised clinical experience
