University Commons houses three computer labs, a café, the Center for Digital Learning and Innovation, study spaces, and informal shared workspaces for students.

The University Commons project is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified eligible building.

University Commons includes:

  • Student affairs: Student Government and Campus Activities Board, student clubs and Office of Student Affairs
  • Learning commons: Grace Library, Mercy Center, Experiential Learning, Rita M. McGinley Center for Student Success, Center for Digital Learning and Innovation, Hopkins Communications Lab
  • Social life:Café and art gallery
  • Services: Bookstore and post office
  • Leadership offices:President and provost

Hours of Operation  (Information Desk)

Days and hours vary for Commons Café,  Center for Academic Achievement, bookstore and library. The chapel, student organizations and open social/study spaces have 24-hour access with Carlow ID during the semester.
