I have taught as an adjunct within Carlow University Nursing Program since 2010. Joining the faculty full time has been rewarding, challenging and a joy. I have been accepted to a Doctoral Program at Millersville University and anticipate starting this Spring. Prior to joining full time faculty, I was an ICU nurse at UPMC Presbyterian and Shadyside. The last five years I worked as a Hospice coordinator and nurse for AHN.

I am passionate about end of life care, vulnerable populations and service to community. I believe this is what makes Carlow so special, the mission of the Sisters of Mercy, going out to serve those who may not be able to afford health insurance, transportation or are impacted by addiction. Stability, financial and otherwise is often something we may take for granted.
