Melanie holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, specializing in rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology. Melanie’s career began as an Assistive Technology Consultant for state agencies and nonprofit organizations focused on supporting individuals with disabilities. Her expertise then expanded to the role of Assistive Technology Specialist in K-12 public school districts across two states. Currently, Melanie contributes her skills as an Assistive Technologist in Carlow’s TRiO Program, where she helps students navigate challenges, enhance academic and professional skills, and boost productivity.
