Joel W. Mullner serves Carlow University as its director of enrollment management and operations. In this capacity, he oversees traditional first-year student recruitment efforts as well as many of the behind-the-scenes functions of the admissions office. He is devoted to a spirit of continuous improvement to create greater efficiencies in office operations and a better experience for prospective students and families. Prior to joining the Carlow community in 2017, Joel worked at John Carroll University, a Catholic institution in suburban Cleveland. There he spent time advising student organizations and coordinating leadership development initiatives in the Office of Student Engagement before transitioning to the Office of Admission, where he implemented their enrollment communications strategies, planned all admissions events, and recruited hundreds of students each year. Joel also attended John Carroll, having earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Boler College of Business.
