Kate came to Carlow in July 2024 from Vermont State University. She is passionate about the transformative possibilities of education. She taught at the middle school, high school, and college levels, but for the last 17 years her focus has been on improving student support systems in higher education to remove non-academic barriers to degree attainment. Kate especially enjoys building teams across all levels and departments to create an organizational engine for on-going positive improvement.
