Dr. Edith Cook has been at Carlow since 2018 and serves as the Senior Director of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. She holds BA degrees in Psychology, East Asian Studies, and Japanese from the University of Minnesota, and her graduate degrees (MS/ PhD) degrees were both related to Program Evaluation and Planning and from Cornell University. She completed her post-doctoral research at the University of Pittsburgh as part of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Program. She has taught Statistics, Research Methods, Social Psychology, Counseling, and the History of Social Welfare at the university level. Her academic interests include systems evaluation, participatory research, gender expectations in the workplace, and cross-disciplinary creativity and collaboration.
