Carlow University’s main campus is 14 private acres in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, which boasts the largest concentration of cultural, academic and medical institutions in the region. Downtown Pittsburgh is just 10 minutes away. The Oakland campus is also home to the Campus Laboratory School and the Early Learning Center.
The Campus Laboratory School of Carlow University is an independent Catholic school for children in preschool through eighth grade. Early childhood options include preschool, Pre-K and a primary Montessori program. The school partners with Carlow for educational experiences, professional development, opportunities for pre-service teachers and sharing of facilities.
The University Commons integrates faculty and student services that support learning and collaboration. There are three computer labs, a cafe, the Center for Digital Learning and Innovation, informal, shared workspaces for students, and the art gallery.
