Counseling Services helps students build skills to effectively deal with daily challenges and stresses. As a Carlow student, you have access to individual counseling sessions (weekly or biweekly) and group therapy opportunities (weekly) at no cost to you.

Our office makes every effort to accommodate specific requests for services and same-day, walk-in appointments based on provider availability.

Counseling is confidential and never part of your student record. Nothing you share is revealed to anyone outside of our services without your written consent, as long as it falls within the limits of the law.

Carlow takes the confidentiality of medical and health records seriously. Confidentiality is mandated by law, and we cannot release any student medical information to parents of nonminor children unless the student gives permission for us to do so in writing. However, in case of a medical emergency where there is an issue of life or death, we will contact family immediately.

Email should never be used in emergencies. Our office is not able to schedule services with someone contacting on behalf of a student, such as with a parent/guardian, friend, partner, or faculty member.
