Hopkins Lab
The Tom Hopkins Communication Lab, located on the fourth floor of the University Commons, can help you advance your verbal and nonverbal communication skills through a variety of mediums, including video, audio and face-to-face.
You can become a more effective communicator through workshops, tutoring and other support services available in person and online.
Services offered:
- Learn how to upload videos and create effective slideshow presentations
- Record videos or audio in interview or presentation rooms
- Receive feedback on presentations and speech outlines from trained peer tutors
- Edit videos with Camtasia software
- Brainstorm ideas for different types of speeches
- Combat speech anxiety through practice and guidance from tutors
