Culturally Relevant Teaching Practices in Early Childhood Education

This interactive and engaging workshop is designed to provide information and strategies needed to integrate anti-bias education in Early Childhood Classrooms. There will be discussions around curriculum, classroom elements, teacher beliefs, and creating awareness.

Workshop Presenters

Dr. Tammi McMillian is the Director of the Apprenticeship Program at Carlow University. Prior to coming to Carlow, she was Education Director at Hosanna House.

Dr. Crystal Rose is the Director of the Pre-ApprenticeshipProgram at Carlow University. Prior to coming to Carlow, she was a PreK teacher in Pittsburgh Public Schools.

 

Sister Mary Paul Hickey Professional Development Series Workshops are free to area educators, students, and community members.
