Carlow Connections: Curating for Justice

Carlow Connections

Join Dr. Amy Bowman-McElhone in conversation as she broadcasts live from the Carlow University Art Gallery where she will discuss a slate of exciting gallery initiatives including the current and upcoming exhibitions, Anthropology of Motherhood: Culture of Care and I Forgot to Laugh: Humor and Activism in Contemporary Art. Dr. Bowman-McElhone will also present exciting digital curation and digital preservation projects in partnership with Googles Art and Culture, such as the production of a 360 degree Augmented Reality Google tour of St. Agnes Church. Curating for Justice will focus of on the Social Justice project of the Carlow’s Art Gallery, its engagement of students, and exciting partnerships and initiatives with the Social Justice Institutes and Campus Laboratory School.
