Christina Jolley is honored to join the undergraduate nursing faculty team at Carlow University. She is the course coordinator for the third year psychiatric nursing course and also teaches health assessment & fundamentals and pharmacology second year courses.

Christina earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Her DNP project focused on the development of knowledge, skills, and attitude of pre-licensure nursing students in the psychiatric inpatient clinical setting. She went on to earn a post graduate certificate as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and maintains dual board certifications.

She maintains a small outpatient practice as a nurse practitioner in child & adolescent psychiatry and looks forward to hosting Carlow PMHNP students for clinical precepting. Previously, Christina practiced as a Registered Nurse in inpatient child & adolescent psychiatry for several years.

Christina is a proud psychiatric nurse and loves sharing this passion and knowledge with students. More than ever, there is a need for open, accessible, holistic mental healthcare in all treatment settings and she believes that students are our leaders in continuing to decrease and eliminate stigma.
