Dr. Fawn T. Robinson, NCC, ACS, LPC is an Associate Professor and Director of the Professional Counseling Programs at Carlow University. The Professional Counseling Programs consist of the Masters of Professional Counseling Program: Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Addictions Counseling Program Tracks; Post-Master’s Certifications in Addictions Counseling and School-Based Mental Health Counseling; and the Accelerated Masters Professional Counseling Program.

Dr. Robinson specializes in Counselor Education and Student Affairs with clinical experience working with a diverse population in career, mental health, addictions, athletics, and academics. She has over two decades of experience in higher education, program development, and grant management. Dr. Robinson is the Director of the School-Based Mental Health Training Institute which is funded by a US Department of Education grant and provides mental health services at the CarlowCounselingClinic and mental health education to Woodland Hills School District and surrounding communities.

Dr. Robinson is the co-chair for the UFA Faculty Development Committee and serves on the University Retention Committee and is a University Search Advocate. She is an active member of professional counseling organizations and attends and presents at national and regional conferences. Dr. Robinson has held the position of President of Pennsylvania Association of Multicultural Counseling & Development (PAMCD) and chaired the national Association of Multicultural Counseling & Development’s (AMCD) Day of Service committee and Mentor Program committee. Her research interests include historical trauma and racial oppression of marginalized populations, culturally-responsive interventions and teaching methods, and career and program development.

Dr. Robinson is deeply committed to the education and development of students, multiculturalism and social justice, professional identity, contributing to the scholarly work of counseling, and servicing the community. Dr. Robinson holds a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Duquesne University, a MA in Student Affairs from Slippery Rock University of PA, and a BSBA in Business Administration-Finance from Clarion University of PA.
