Kathy Palombo is an instructor of Respiratory Care at Carlow University of Pittsburgh, PA. She received her master’s degree in Nursing Administration with a concentration in Nursing Education from Waynesburg University of Pennsylvania. Kathy has been a Registered Nurse since 2007 and a Registered Respiratory Therapist since 1992. She also is a Mastered Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and holds a National Certification for Tobacco Treatment Practice. Her professional experience includes acute care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, home care, COPD & asthma wellness, community outreach, health coaching for in-patient tobacco treatment, program coordinator for Waynesburg University’s master of nursing program, and served as the interim program director for Carlow University Respiratory Therapy Program. She is an experienced nursing and respiratory therapy educator.
