President’s Lecture Series: Affording Mercy as Power: The Significance of Mercy in a Pandemic

The presentation will lay a foundation for the public significance of theology, in general, a brief exploration into the theology of power, and an explanation of what is meant by “affording mercy.”

Presented by John W. Alverson, PhD, Professor of Theology,  Alverson has taught Theology at Carlow for over 30 years. Professional interests include religion and science, post modernity, spirituality and theological methods.
