Types of Presentations
There are 2 possible presentation formats:
Poster Physical/In-Person – Presenters will prepare and set up a poster in the indicated CSD location. They must be available for questions from the public in a specific time period on the day of the CSD meeting. Important: All poster presentations require physical presence
PPT Physical/In-Person – Presenter(s) will give a live presentation in the designated CSD room at the specified time. While there will be live audience in the room, the presentation will also be broadcast to all of the connected virtual audience.
Exceptionally, and only for those programs that are fully online or invited presenters from outside the Carlow community, it will be possible to participate in virtual sessions specifically setup for this purpose following a PPT virtual synchronous format.
PPT Virtual Synchronous – At the designated CSD presentation time, the presenter(s), who are NOT located in the CSD meeting site, will give the expected presentation virtually to all of the connected audience.
Carlow Scholars’ Day sessions take place mainly in a physical format where participants are present on campus. Physical exhibits are on display at the A.J. Palumbo Hall of Science and Technology.
