A conversation with Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the pediatrician, professor, and public health advocate whose research first exposed the Flint water crisis—revealing that the children of Flint were exposed to dangerous levels of lead. Dr. Hanna-Attisha is now the director of the Pediatric Public Health Initiative and the author of the 2018 book “What the Eyes Don’t See.” Dr. Hanna-Attisha will be joined by Dr. Maureen Lichtveld, the dean of the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public Health.
This event is co-sponsored by Carlow’s Atkins Center for Ethics and Pitt’s Center for Bioethics and Health Law, with additional support from Carlow’s Social Justice Institutes.
