Ever wonder how to incorporate works of art into your classroom? Join Carnegie Museum of Art education staff members Hattie Lehman and Meg Scanlon to discuss favorite strategies to facilitate a conversation with a work of art. This dialogue-based method of facilitating conversation invites everyone to make observations and encourages learners to articulate what they see going on in an artwork, and what they see that makes them say that. These strategies can support skill-building in any discipline, and especially cultivate observation, critical thinking and empathic connections.
