In November 2020, FBI analysts declared the Pittsburgh area a hub for white supremacy, extremism, and domestic terrorism. At the same time, the fascist group Patriot Front marched to the City-County building in downtown Pittsburgh to protest the presidential election. As far back as 2018, media reports mention white supremacist and neo-Nazi recruiting materials scattered throughout the South Hills and South Side Flats. In the midst of unprecedented sociopolitical upheaval, join the SJI for a virtual panel discussion on the rise of white supremacy in Allegheny County, identifying red flags, and safely combatting nationalist, fascist rhetoric and organizing.
