Additional vaccination clinic announced in final student update of 2021

Dear Students,

Unfortunately, Allegheny County is reporting problematically high and generally rising case rates, keeping the county in the high-risk category. Details on the “County View” may be found by clicking here. Recommendations from the Allegheny County Health Department are to limit large gatherings during the holidays, especially involving those who have traveled. Please review important information for you to know this week.

Meal Plan Flex Balances Carry-over

If you have a balance of meal plan flex dollars on your account, fear not! You DO NOT need to spend them down prior to semester end. These balances DO carry over to the Spring semester!

Help Needed? Submit a Care Report

With the beginning of each semester, students occasionally struggle with affordability, academic adjustments, and connecting to the community. If you become concerned about yourself or others, please submit a report and let the Care Team know about any needs, questions or concerns. We are active and will contact you, or those you refer, to help. You may also contact the Student Affairs office at 412-578-6293 or .

May each of you have a blessed, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Timothy P. Phillips, PhD
Vice President of Student Affairs & Dean of Students
