Anti-racism Values in the PA Profession presented by Anna Nicka, DMSc, PA-C, Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Program, College of Health and Wellness

The PA profession recognizes the critical need to address systemic and institutional racism in society and medicine. Racism is a critical threat to health equity and public health. The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) is committed to changing institutional policies and practices in order to combat and eliminate racism in all forms. This presentation will address the history of racism in medicine and what the PA profession is doing to promote anti-racism values across healthcare and society.
