This is part of the Sister Mary Paul Educator Workshop Series.
The practice of continuity of care for young children has become a key component of early childhood classrooms. Largely based on attachment theory, continuity of care recognizes that young children thrive in environments with consistent caregivers and that these relationships take time to build.
This Zoom session will explore the different models of continuity of care in early childhood classrooms, how educators and families can work together to create consistency for young children, and practical ways educators can adapt their programming to support the philosophy.
