Dean requests student participation in COVID-19 survey to help University prepare for Fall semester

Dear Students,

It is welcome news that reports indicate that within Allegheny County, 66% of adults have chosen to receive at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The positive test rate remains low, just above 1%. With the D-strain of the COVID-19 virus circulating, health officials nationally and throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania continue to strongly recommend that all adults be vaccinated. Fall 2021 planning is well underway and we anticipate a fully accessible campus learning environment.

New this week:

COVID-19 Vaccination Survey

To assist with Fall planning efforts, we are asking students to voluntarily complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Survey. The purpose is to help Carlow understand, in aggregate form, what percentage of our overall community has chosen to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This survey will not ask you to provide your name and is completely anonymous. Employees have also been asked to complete a similar survey. Information from this survey will be used to assess the need for health safety materials and services through the 2021-22 academic year. Thank you in advance for your response.

University Closed July 5 for Independence Day

Carlow University will be on holiday for Independence Day, Monday, July 5, 2021. Offices will be closed and no classes will be in session. Please enjoy your holiday weekend responsibly!
