College in High School, June 20-June 29
Rising Educators: This innovative two-week, credit-bearing summer program will allow rising juniors and seniors to earn three college credits in the comforts of their own community.
- Obtain instruction and hands-on experience working with children
- Programs are offered at:
- Hosanna House, open to any community teen who is a rising junior or senior
- Boys & Girls Club, open to any community teen who is a rising junior or senior
- Woodland Hills High School, open to Woodland Hills students only
- McKeesport High School, open to McKeesport students only
Summer Workshops, June 20-23 & June 27-30
Prepare to Care: Investigate nursing and healthcare careers this summer. These daytime, non-residential workshops are for high school students who have completed grades 9-11.
- Learn from internationally renowned scientists and healthcare professionals
- Engage in hands-on lab activities
- Observe an open-heart surgery (Prepare to Care I only)

Carlow Summer College, June 20-Aug. 11
Complete 3-6 credits towards a potential academic major or get a head start on first-year academic course requirements.

Course Spotlight
AR 266 Visual Storytelling and Activism: In partnership with The Warhol and Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, students will explore visual art mediums (photography and printmaking) as a vehicle for activism. Courses are funded by the Hillman Foundation and are offered at no cost to registrants.
