University Communication to Students

New This Week:

Combatting the COVID-19 Allegheny County Surge

Recognizing the increase of COVID-19 cases in Allegheny County, and specifically near our Oakland campus, ACHD continues to emphasize the importance of preventative measures that include always wearing a mask, proper social distancing, washing hands frequently, and cleaning common spaces before and after use. The Carlow community continues to experience low prevalence of infections and our collective efforts are important to combating the recent surge.

Testing Continues and is Available

If you are experiencing symptoms, please contact Health Services (412-578-6474) or your primary care provider.

Healthy Minds Survey Launching

In an effort to better understand the prevalence of mental health impacts students are experiencing, the University will be launching the Healthy Minds survey beginning April 13. Individual responses will be confidential and provided to the University in aggregate data only. The University, in collaboration with the JED Foundation, will review the data as part of a comprehensive campus assessment that results in a services strategic plan to be implemented the next 3 years. Please look for the survey announcement next week and take some time to offer your feedback.
