Current Planning Includes a Return to Pre-Pandemic Classroom Seating
Pittsburgh, Pa. – This morning, Carlow University President Suzanne K. Mellon, PhD, announced that the university will be transitioning back to an in-person instructional class schedule featuring face-to-face classes and standard options of hybrid or online. Current planning will incorporate pre-pandemic classroom seating capacities in the fall semester.
“We continue to monitor and follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC, State of Pennsylvania and Allegheny County,” said Dr. Mellon. “If anything changes, we will flex as needed. We anticipate that all members of our campus community will have the opportunity to receive a vaccine over the next few months.”
Dr. Mellon concluded the announcement by thanking Carlow faculty, staff, and students for their “commitment to the common good,” which allowed the university to continue learning during the pandemic.
