University providing links to potential 1A vaccination sites

University Communication to Faculty, Staff, Carlow Campus School

Dear Campus Community,

As you know, efforts to increase the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine are increasing access and availability. However, the state and Allegheny County remain in the 1A group authorization and distribution phase.

To date, Carlow University has provided an opportunity to more than 400 qualifying 1A group members to receive the vaccine. At the present time, we have not identified enough remaining to warrant another clinic.

Below we are providing you with links to best identify potential sites for receiving the vaccine. The state is working to complete everyone in the 1A group by March 31. If you remain in the 1A qualifying group and desire to have the vaccine, please use the following links:

After the state and Allegheny County shift to the 1B group, Carlow will return to offering vaccine distribution clinics in Galliot Center for those who desire to receive the vaccine. We currently do not know when we may be cleared to do so but are monitoring the situation closely with our partner, Integrated Health 21.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Angela Harrington, PhD, alharrington@carlow.edu or myself.

Sincerely,

Timothy P Phillips, Ph.D.
