TRiO Student support services help eligible students (first-generation, low-income students and students with a documented disability) thrive in their educational journey by offering academic and social support. Eligibility for this program is determined once an application is submitted.

As an eligible student, you will work individually with a trained TRiO advisor who will help you create an all-encompassing academic plan that considers your academic and career goals, and connects you to university resources, learning skills workshops and student organizations

Learning Skills Workshops include:

  • Best ways to study/preparing for tests
  • Time management as a college student (managing your job, studies & social life)
  • Resume & interview skills (internships or career)
  • Self-care and life balance (mindfulness & resiliency during stressful times)
  • Financial security (budgeting, planning & completing your FAFSA)

If you choose to pursue graduate studies, TRiO Student Support Services can help with your essay and your application fee.
