The Department of Psychology and Counseling at Carlow University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position within its Masters of Professional Counseling Program. Central responsibilities will include teaching masters level counseling courses, academic advising, and assistance in program initiatives.
Qualified applicants must hold a doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP Accredited Program, be licensed or license-eligible in PA as a professional counselor or school counselor, and have the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Evidence of excellence in teaching and experience in delivering individual and/or group counseling are highly desirable. Special interest in applicants with clinical and research interests pertaining to development, gerontology, or corrections.
