Volunteer Opportunities
Are you looking for involvement in the local community? Are there areas of service, societal issues, or causes that interest you? Do you need assistance connecting or forging a partnership with an organization or agency in the local community? Are you interested in a short-term or single commitment? Do you have an interest in problem-solving and helping to stimulate positive transformation through an ongoing commitment? Do you need a community engagement praxis opportunity for a course? Are you looking for a chance to serve beyond Mercy Service Day and Alternative Spring Break?
If you answered yes to any of the above, please contact the staff at the Mercy Center for Service (MCS) for help!
The Mercy Center for Service assists the campus-community and MCS Community Partners (organizations and agencies) in making meaningful connections to build partnership that are mutually beneficial.
MCS Community Partners are able to list available volunteer opportunities with the Mercy Center for Service.
Collegiate, faculty, and staff within the Carlow community may check myPortal or contact the Mercy Center for Service when seeking an opportunity for community engagement or volunteer service in the local area. MCS will assist and help identify opportunities regardless of the area of interest or the amount of time an individual is able to commit.
