The purpose of this course is to survey basic pharmacological principles for non-medical helping professionals. This course explores the field of psychopharmacology for all the major mental disorders. Emphasis is placed on the relationships between drugs, their mechanisms of action in the nervous system, and human behavior. 3 credits.
