School for Social Change

The School for Social Change brings together those academic disciplines that take a scientific approach to the study of human behavior. Majors learn to use the tools and principles of communication and critical analysis to evaluate both historical and contemporary theories that describe and predict important aspects of the human experience.

Majors within the school may choose from wide-ranging professional fields, including communication studies, political science, psychology, public policy and leadership, social work, sociology, and criminal justice. A variety of minors are available as well.
