College of Arts and Sciences


The College of Arts and Sciences is home to Carlow University’s liberal arts programs, consisting of the Division of Humanities, the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and the School for Social Change. Students who enroll in the college have a strong interest in exploring human history and expression, the basic science of the human body and its environment, as well as the human psyche and the dynamics of society. We offer more than 45 undergraduate degrees ranging from art to mathematics to social work. Our student body consists of both traditional students and adult degree-seeking students.

The College of Arts and Sciences also offers advanced study leading to master’s degrees in creative writing, professional counseling, and professional leadership.
