• If you've taken any college courses, you may be surprised to learn how quickly and easily you can earn your bachelor's degree at Carlow University.   • We operate on a rolling admissions system, which means that an acceptance decision is made shortly after the application is completed. The items needed for an application to be considered complete are listed below:

    Admissions Requirements for Adult Transfer Students:

    • Submit a completed application form by applying online for free.
    • Submit an official copy of all college transcripts. (Transfer credits must have been granted by an institution which is recognized as an institution of higher education or which is accredited by a regional accrediting association recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.)
    • Submit a personal essay describing your goals may be included, and, in some instances, required.

    If you are an adult returning to college, workshops are offered by the Center for Academic Achievement to help you with this transition. Please ask your transfer counselor for more information regarding these workshops.


    * The transcript is considered official if it contains the seal of the institution and is issued directly to Carlow University. Transcripts delivered to students are considered official only when sealed in an envelope with the institution's seal over the flap. Faxed transcripts are not considered official. Official GED test scores may be accepted in lieu of high school transcripts.
