  • Summer Science Nation is a three-day workshop for high school girls interested in science and exploring diverse career options in research, pharmaceuticals, education and the biomedical industry. This program is open to all high school girls entering grades 9-12, interested in science, and exploring diverse career options in education, research, pharmaceuticals, and the biomedical industry.

  • SUMMER SCIENCE NATION: July 14, 15, and 16, 2015

    This 3-day workshop includes two nights* spent in the Carlow dorms! Cost includes the 3-day workshop, all off- campus transportation, a T-shirt, a journal, continental breakfasts and lunches and dinner, activities and residence hall during the overnight portion.   

    Science in Action

    This program introduces you to career options in science. Through hands-on lab experiments, field trips to Pittsburgh's research and industry facilities, and meetings with scientists in the field, you'll see the broad range of opportunities in science that are available—and meet women succeeding in these careers. You'll also meet other girls, like you, who want to explore a future in science.
