Federal grants are awarded based on calculated financial eligibility, which is determined by information you provide on the FAFSA and by criteria established by the federal government. You do not need to repay a federal grant.
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) offers grants to eligible, Pennsylvania residents who are undergraduates seeking their first bachelor’s degree. Students may apply for a PHEAA Grant by completing the FAFSA and all other forms required by PHEAA.
Some discounts are offered to traditional undergraduate students. Discounts may be combined with merit and athletic scholarships and the Carlow grant. In all cases, institutional aid can not exceed direct costs.
If you have questions about how to apply for or receive a federal or state grants, please contact the Financial Aid Office (in the Student Hub) in Antonian Hall, 2nd floor, call 412.578.6389, or email us at email@example.com.
