  • Human Development

Studies in human development investigate the biological, behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and social factors that shape how humans grow and change. This focus is relevant to the helping professions, health sciences, and education, as well as general studies in psychology and other social sciences. If you would like to better understand the concerns and complexities of specific age groups, from early childhood through late adulthood, consider a concentration in human development. Those not earning a major in psychology may minor in human development.

This concentration provides you with a solid foundation in theory and research pertaining to human development across the lifespan.
